1. What is being sold and when it is delivered
A stake buys a position on a country’s public advertising board. The position is created and your card becomes visible immediately on successful payment, typically within seconds. There is no waiting period, no shipment and no scheduled start.
By paying, you ask for that service to begin immediately and you acknowledge that it is fully performed the moment your position appears.
2. No refund on a change of mind
Because the service is delivered in full and at once, a stake is not refunded because you later changed your mind, because somebody out-staked you, or because the position did not bring the results you hoped for.
Being passed by another advertiser is the normal working of the board, not a failure of the service. Your total remains on the board and continues to count towards any later position you take there.
Under Ukrainian consumer law the usual right to withdraw from a distance contract does not extend to a service that has been fully performed with the customer’s prior consent. That is the basis for this clause, and it is the reason consent to immediate performance is collected at the moment of payment rather than buried here.
3. When a refund IS given
These are refunded in full, and you do not have to argue for them:
- Charged more than once for the same action. A duplicate arising from a double click, a retry or a network failure is returned. Every payment carries an idempotency key precisely so this can be identified rather than debated.
- Money taken but no position created. If a payment succeeded and the service did not appear, it is refunded in full.
- A payment you did not authorise. Report it and it is refunded while we investigate, not after.
- A fault on our side. If a defect in our software caused a charge that should not have happened, or removed a position you had paid for, the affected payments are returned.
- We remove your card for a reason that is not your fault. If we take a card down because of our own decision, such as a change of policy or a country withdrawn from sale, the stake behind it is refunded pro rata.
Illegal content, impersonation, malware and deception break the terms, and a card removed for that reason is not refunded.
4. How to ask
- Write to support@stakeacountry.com from the address on the account.
- Include the country, the approximate time of the payment, and the amount. Your wallet statement lists every payment with its exact time, which is enough on its own.
- We answer within 3 working days. If we need more information we say what and why, rather than closing the request.
5. How the money comes back
- A refund goes to the same card or account the payment came from. We cannot send it anywhere else, and we will not ask you for other details.
- Approved refunds are submitted within 5 working days. How quickly it then appears is your bank’s to decide, and is usually a further 3 to 14 days.
- We refund the amount charged. We do not deduct a handling fee.
6. If we say no
We tell you which clause the decision rests on, in writing. If you disagree you can escalate to your bank or card scheme, or to the consumer protection authority in your country. We will not close your account for disputing a charge.
7. Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback we cooperate with the bank and supply the payment record and the board history. We would rather settle it directly and faster. Writing to us first usually resolves it in days rather than weeks, but nothing here removes your right to go to your bank.
